Overview

Fat Reduction

For many people, achieving a toned and well-proportioned body can be difficult; it takes hard work and discipline to maintain a healthy diet and consistent exercise routine. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, stubborn pockets of fat can be challenging to get rid of in areas like the thighs, abdomen, upper arms and love handles. Non-surgical fat reduction technologies are becoming more popular because they can target fat cells without the negative effects or downtime of traditional procedures. These non-invasive methods are preferred for reducing and eliminating fat cells in the body. Unlike liposuction, they don’t require surgery, so there’s no need for needles, incisions, anaesthesia or extended recovery periods.

At 3D Aesthetics Medispa, we provide a range of options to help you eliminate stubborn fat deposits. Our treatments include fat freezing, cavitation, radiofrequency, ultrasound and High-Intensity Focused Electomagnetic (HIFEM®) technology.

Areas That Can Be Improved With Fat Freezing:

  • Abdomen
  • Buttocks
  • Thighs
  • Arms
  • Calves

3D Powersculpt

3D Powersculpt offers seven distinct waveforms that can produce a range of results depending on your preferences. This cutting-edge technology allows for targeted muscle toning and body shaping. Additionally, it can be used as an accelerator for other body-contouring treatments, such as our 3D sculpting treatments. By encouraging fat reduction and calorie burning in the targeted area, this treatment improves your body’s metabolic rate.

Cavitation

Treatments like fat freezing are a good option for individuals with small areas of fat, however, cavitation is ideal if your goal is fat reduction and overall inch loss. As well as this, cavitation is the most effective for treating the abdomen, thighs, and ‘muffin top’. For the best possible results, we recommend 6-8 sessions and may suggest a combination of treatment technologies.

FAQs

Everything you need to know about this technology

How does 3D Powersculpt work?

The technology used by 3D Powersculpt applies electromagnetic fields to muscles, producing a similar biological effect to exercise without any invasive or painful procedures. During treatment, the muscles undergo repeated contractions, encouraging muscle tissue to adapt. Through these intense contractions, the muscles undergo hypertrophy, creating new protein strands and muscle fibres. This process leads to muscle building and fat reduction.

When will I see the results of 3D Powersculpt?

A single 30-minute session is equivalent to doing 20,000 crunches or squats. After just 4 3D Powersculpt sessions, you will start to see how the treatment is toning and sculpting your body, but 6-8 sessions are recommended to see the very best results.

How does cavitation work?

Cavitation treatment involves a handpiece that glides gently over the treatment area, releasing ultrasound waves into the body. Though some patients may feel a warm sensation due to the handpiece's massage, most of them report that the experience is painless and comfortable. The average session duration of cavitation lasts around 30-40 minutes, but this can vary depending on the size of the treatment area.

When will I see the results of cavitation?

It goes without saying that the more sessions you have, the more inch loss you will see. You should notice 1-3cm of inch loss after just 1 session, with the fat elimination process lasting up to 7 days post-treatment, but the most significant results are seen with a full course of treatments.

What technologies can be combined with cavitation?

For optimal fat reduction, we recommend combining cavitation with our other technologies, including radiofrequency skin tightening and fat melting, as well as shockwave therapy to assist the body in eliminating the broken-down fat. Our therapists will assess your needs and preferences to develop a personalised treatment plan.
